List of reimbursed foods for special medical purposes valid as of 1. 2. 2026
The State Institute for Drug Control, in accordance with the provisions of Section 39zb(1) of Act No. 48/1997 Coll. on public health insurance and on amendments and supplements to certain related acts (hereinafter referred to as the "Act"), publishes a List of prices and reimbursements for foods for special medical purposes.
The State Institute for Drug Control, in accordance with the Act, publishes a List of foods for special medical purposes reimbursed by health insurance (hereinafter referred to as the “List”). The List is always published on the first day of the calendar month and provides a complete list of categorized and uncategorized foods for special medical purposes (FSMPs) covered by public health insurance, including the announced ex-factory prices (categorized FSMPs) or maximum ex-factory prices (uncategorized FSMPs), the amount and conditions of reimbursement, including the maximum possible reimbursement for the end consumer, together with the amount of the supplementary payment in the eligible limit. For categorized FSMPs, the List also contains the basic reimbursements of the FSMPs reimbursement groups.
The list takes into account 12% VAT, Price Decree of the Ministry of Health No. 1/2026/OLZP, dated October 24, 2025, on the regulation of prices of medicinal products and foods for special medical purposes.
